NYE!

Hey guys, this is just a quick outfit I put together for an idea i'd wear to a NYE party!

I've kept it pretty simple letting the skirt have the main focus, I main come on, it deserves it!

I love this skirt! I think it could be easily dressed up or down for any outfit!

Keeping the jewelry to a minimum and staying with silver I think gives the look a more grown up feel to it!

Dying for this dress!

Hey guys, a quick outfit post on a dress that i'm dying to get! I keep eyeing it up in Topshop and now that i've finished all of my christmas shopping I think I might have to treat myself! ;)

This is one way that i'd wear this outfit, obviously with a coat/cardigan on top and some black tights!

Rockin' the red lips!

Hey guys, today I've got the whole morning off uni as i'm in at 2 so I decided to have a mess about with my makeup whilst having a longggg break from doing some work, I went for the traditional winged eyes and red lips and rolled my fringe, I've never really gone for the whole finished look on myself, i'm normally wearing winged eye liner and then nude lips, or just red lips and nothing on my eyes/face, so I feel quite full on today but I think my outfit dresses it down a bit! I hope anyway, don't want to be looking too full on at uni...

Finally got a weave!

Hey guys, I know i've been pretty rubbish on here, but finally getting settled into uni took longer than I thought! Bit surprising really seeing as i'm from Lincoln and I only live 9 miles down the road! Sad I know but hey! I'm only human and I miss my family ;)

Luckily for me I have amazing room mates that make it so much easier and now that I have a routine it seems a lot better!

So anyway, after that little ramble, I'll get onto the post!!

So i've wanted to have extensions for a while now and I kept looking into different types and then putting it off because of the price and being lazy, but a couple of weeks ago my boyfriend said that he'd pay for me to have the weave fitted and all I needed to pay for was the hair! It was so sweet of him!

So I went and had my hair freshly highlighted (not cut, short layers are a pain to weave!) and then I went and bought my hair!

Because my hair's not all one colour of blonde, it has a lot of different tones I went to get my hair colour matched and I am 12/16/613 which is a light blonde with browns and caramels running through it, perfect match :) I bought 14" as I didn't want mine to be too long and I wanted them to look as natural as possible :)

I had mine done by a lovely girl who works for herself and is mobile so I had it done in the comfort of my own home which was lovely :)

The whole process was around 2 hours long but went soooo quick as we were chatting and watching telly ;)

I absolutely LOVE how my hair looks! Although i've got a bit of a headache at the minute as they're so fresh and tight, they'll loosen up soon though! (Thank goodness!)

I PASSED!

Hey guys, just a quick post to say I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!

Finally! haha, second try which I guess isn't too bad! With only 4 minors may I add ;)

I'm so happy I've passed but now i'm a bit daunted ME driving!?!?! Eeep!

Update!

Hey guys, bit of an update as to what's been going on in my life at the moment!

I got into uni with D D D which i'm so happy about as I only needed D M M to get into the course I wanted.
I'm going to Lincoln University to study Contemporary Lens Media, i'm totally stoked about it!

I'm moving out! I live 9 miles away from the center of town but I think it's about time I have my own space seeing as i'm 19 now. I'm glad I didn't go to uni straight away as I feel that i've grown up a lot more in that year and that i'm finally ready! Although I'm still extremely nervous as i'm very much a home girl.

I've started to collect little bits and bobs for my room, little things like holders, bed linen, box organisers and little bits and bobs to make my room feel more homely.

I FINALLY WENT OUT AGAIN!!

Yes, I know i'm 19, I should be the typical teen going out whenever it's possible but it's just not my sort of thing! I mean don't get me wrong, I love to see my friends but i'm more of a go round someone's house and have a gossip or go down to the pub than a 'clubbing kinda gal'.

I should make an effort to go out a bit more but it's difficult when you suffer with anxiety, I need to make sure that I don't miss the important things at the beginning of my time at uni, such as freshers! You don't have to drink to have a good time Beccy, GO OUT AND ENJOY YOURSELF. Anyhooo...

Sorry that I haven't been posting a lot, I've still been popping on and reading people's blogs but I just haven't had to motivation and time to sit down and actually get something out!

Bad, bad blogger.

Hey guys, long time no speak!
I've been so so busy! I've finally finished college & getting ready to start uni in August/September!
I had my final exhibition last week, which was amazing! So many people came to view our work which was just brilliant! A lot of my family came to support me which I loved! I had my mum, step-dad, brother, dad, step-mum, boyfriend, grandad and his wife! Woweee!
I found out my final grades at the end of the exhibition which I was over the moon with! I got a D*D*D!
Which means I most definitely will get into uni! (Seeing as I only needed a DMM!)
I went out for a lovely meal with my dad, step-mum, brother and boyfriend after at an amazing Italian at the top of my town, called Cafe Zoot. I love it there, I used to go there for lunch sometimes when I was at college as they did the BEST baguettes ever! Fresh warm bread mmmm.
haha anyway, i'm going off topic a bit!

Anywayyy, lets get back to the post I originally planned on posting eh? ;)

OPI'S Whats With The Cattitude? Best name ever for a cat lover like me!

I got this OPI nail varnish in part of the set of the Shrek collection.
I love all of the colours in the collection but this powdery pale blue is my favourite.
To get this pigmented colour it took 2 coats, when you put the first coat on it's very streaky and I instantly thought that it was going to be a bad polish and it would have been a waste of money (So quick to judge I know) but thankfully I gave it a second chance with a second coat and look at it go! It's such a beautiful blue! No streaks! Perfecto!


I keep staring at my nails, it's a colour that can be easily worn with any outfit and will give the simplest outfit a bit of a pop of needed colour!

Definitely one of my favourite nail polishes from my growing collection of OPI!

ooooh, also you can see sneaking into the photographs are my gold over the knuckle rings! TREND ALERT! I am SO in love with this look! It's such a simple thing to do but seems to finish of an outfit perfectly!
I bought these from Topshop, they're toe rings but I hate feet too much to even think about putting jewelry on them! So on my knuckles they go!

I know the trend is going around at the moment with on the knuckle rings and places like ASOS and wired jewelry do supply these so go check them out!
I bought the little skull ring on sale for £2 and the 'peace' ring was in a set of 2, the other ring is silver and says love, they were £2 as well from Topshop. 


I'm absolutely in love with this trend at the moment and will be purchasing some more!

Hey guys! Finally jumped on the band wagon and bought myself the gorgeous zara messenger bag!
I bought it in the grey and rose gold colour as I need more things with rose gold detail!
I absolutely love this bag, it's the perfect size and for the price of £19.99 who could fault it?!
I love the slouch look the bag has when on, it hangs comfortably without getting in the way!

Creeping!

Hey guys, exciting post! Finally bought myself some creepers!
I'd been looking around for some studded ones, and some I found in one of my stores in my town had gold and silver studs and I didn't like that too much! So I was so pleased when I came across these silver studded ones!
Also I spotted these lilac one's on the same website! LOVE them both so much!
They came today 1st class don't you know ;) Cheered me right up!

I absolutely love the studding detail on the black pair, so easy to wear and will be the 'daddy' to my topshop studded flats! ;) I think this pale lilac is such a lovely colour, bang on trend with the pastels this spring/summer!
What do you guys think of these? Anyone else got a pair?

Sunday Wish list

I'm loving coloured blazers at the minute, I think they can add a bit of flavour to an outfit and if you're wearing something quite masculine such as simple jeans and a T, this will give it a bit more of a girly twist!

Today I bought - friend's 18th birthday present's!

Hey everyone, hope you're all well! A quick post of what I picked up in town, I went into Primark just to have a look to waste some time and I came across this cosmic top! It was only £8! What a bargain! It's quiteee sheer, so a pale bra is a must! But apart from that I love it! It's really light weight and perfect for when it gets a bit warmer! I love that it's longer at the back as well! Well done Primark! ;)

I was in town looking for my friends 18th birthday present and I had a look in benefit and bought her the small set of all the cleaning range, in a cute box for £10 :) I also went into Accessorize and bought her this adorable hot air balloon necklace for only £6 :)

Stud!

Hey guys, here's a quick D.I.Y I did today, I bought some levi shorts from YAK for £19 and decided I wanted to stud them! I bought the studs from Amazon for around £5 and there were 50 in the pack.

For this you will need -
A pack of studs (mine were in size L)
Shorts you'd like to be studded
Scissors and patience!

 Press the studs into the pockets or wherever you want to stud with your fingers and then when the spikes come through to the other side, bend the edges with the scissors making sure they're fully bent in to stop the risk of them coming out!

Here's the final result, I decided to stud the large pocket and i'm going to experiment with back pockets on my other denim shorts! As well as shredding/stone washing! Hope you like how they turned out! :) xo

EOS lip balm, Strawberry sorbet!

Hey everyone, hope you're all okay! Today I'm going to do a review on a lip balm product.
I've been wanting to try this product for ages now and my boyfriend kindly bought me one to try!
It's the EOS lip balms, they come in lots of different flavours and I have the strawberry sorbet one :)

3 things I love about this product -
1. The packaging, it comes in an adorable egg shape that you twist off and the product is in the center.
2. The amount of product you get! I won't be needing to buy any for a while!
3. The subtle flavour, I don't like my lip balms to be too sweet or sickly as it's right under my nose and sometimes it's a big put off! :P But this product has the sent just right! ;)

 I have it over the top of revlon pink pout :) It gives a nice shine and gloss to the lips!

I'm so happy with this product, i'll definitely be buying a few more! I think i'll get the honeydew one next!
